Perle Mecontice is a French artist and illustrator living in Brussels, Belgium. She likes using different techniques ( acrylics, pens, ink, collage, linocut …) and sometimes a mix of them all. People and animals are her favorite subjects. She has a lot of sketchbooks filled with ideas, sketches made in cafés and public transports, experiments, dreams… Her work has been seen on shoes, holiday cards, fanzines (comics and kids illustrated books), clothes, badges, prints, windows… She also makes a lot of handmade stamps and GIFS.
